The Winter's Tale

There were several elements to this project. I directed an all-female workshop production of The Winter's Tale. We performed it on the road at Michigan High Schools, as well as a special production at the Abrams Planetarium in collaboration with MSU's Astrophysics program. A star show was designed to accompany the production, as well as a scholarly talk about astrology and astronomy during Shakespeare's lifetime. We commisioned professional recordings of the show and posted those online. Finally, I created a podcast called Syllable of Recorded Time. A rotating roster of student hosts interviewed Shakespeare scholars, actors, and directors.
