The Monkey King

This devised play with music was part of MSU's Year of China initiative. It was a retelling of China's classic novel, Journey to the West. It brought Chinese and American students together. The Peking Opera Company and accompanying scholars were brought to campus thanks to a Creating Inclusive Excellence Grant. This play broke records for bestselling Freshman Showcase.
